by Alpesh Nakar

Live Search Maps Add-In for Microsoft® Office Outlook® adds maps, driving directions, traffic information, and travel time to the scheduling capabilities of Outlook.

Add maps and directions to your meeting requests – and much more!

  • See maps in road, aerial, bird’s-eye, and amazing 3D views!*
  • Calculate travel distances between locations and adjust your departures based on estimated travel times.
  • Create meeting reminders that block off estimated travel time in your calendar.
  • Print maps and directions “to go”, then save the details for viewing when you’re offline.
  • Use real-time traffic updates to help you avoid accident or rush-hour delays and find the best routes.*
  • Find locations close to your meeting on the Live Search Maps Web site.
  • Store your custom locations.

* Bird’s-eye view, 3D view, and traffic updates are available in many major U.S. cities. For 3D view, you must have Virtual Earth 3D (Beta) installed on your computer. For traffic availability, visit the Live Search Maps Web site, and on the action bar, click Traffic.

Do you have this working? It has stopped working on my computer. Add/Remove programs shows it installed but Outlook says it is not there. I have removed and reinstalled it.

    Mitch,

Have you changed the OS language from US English to some other language?

I’ve got an Amazon gift certificate burning holes in my pocket,
and I want to get the most bang for my buck.

Enter the Secret Amazon Web Pages:

    http://tinyurl.com/38sojf

This is where you’re going to find the “latest sales, rebates, and limited-time offers” from
Amazon, and you can score some pretty deep discounts if you’re a savvy shopper.

Next, there’s the special Sale link. This is open every Friday, and ONLY on Fridays.

You can find the same good discounts here as you would in hidden Deals, although some
Fridays you can really get lucky and make off like an Amazon bandit - I’ve seen discounts
there as low as 75% off sticker price.
